About Ed Mayo
Ed Mayo is a seasoned professional musician, arranger, and educator based in Kent, UK. Specialising in trumpet, bass, and piano, he offers high-quality music arrangements for festivals, competitions, and various musical projects. His extensive experience ensures exceptional musical delivery for all professional engagements.
Trumpet/Bass/Piano
Ed Mayo is a professional trumpet player who has performed all over the world as part of many musical groups, and as a featured soloist. He is comfortable sight reading, improvising and playing lead trumpet.
He also plays Bass and Piano and can sightread and play by ear. He is comfortable in a jazz setting and also enjoys playing theatre shows and musical theatre concerts.
Arranging/Music Preparation
Ed Mayo is a an experienced MD and arranger and is currently available for writing work for any size of musical project. His charts has been performed all over the world including: Queen Mary 2; Young Musician of the Gulf; St. Edmunds Festival; Ed Mayo Quartet; Harbour Big Band.
